About Nyenrode
Nyenrode Business Universiteit, founded in 1946 as a private university, builds on the motto ‘for and by business’. It survived and thrived thanks to the early initiatives of the Dutch multinationals in 1946 - and has done so ever since.
Nyenrode offers just-in-time education for a long- life career in business: the choices range from better job opportunities through a degree program to the Young Leadership Development Program and to a top position in the Boardroom via the New Board Effectiveness Program. The various year-round Executive Certificate and Management Programs are tailored to support education in specific topics which are of changing importance to the business community.
In 2007 the School of Accountancy & Controlling joined up with the School of Business and in late 2010, thanks to substantial financial support of alumni, the New Business School (NBS) Amsterdam was acquired. This meant the return to Nyenrode of the BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) program. After completing their BBA at the NBA, students can enter smoothly the MSc program. In this way The Spirit of Enterprise has returned to Nyenrode.
Stichting Nyenrode Fonds helps Nyenrode Business University with real advice on a regular basis and makes sure that the unique Nyenrode experience is kept alive by supporting various important projects for Nyenrode and its students.
